Minitest

Terminal window
bundle add selective-ruby-minitest
bundle exec selective minitest

selective minitest replaces bundle exec rake test or bundle exec ruby -Itest .... Standard Minitest flags are forwarded:

Terminal window
bundle exec selective minitest -n /Billing/ --seed 1234 -v

The runner loads your test files, reports the tests it found to Selective, and then runs whichever ones Selective hands it, in the order Selective chooses. On a node with nothing left to do, the command exits once the queue is empty.

FlagEffect
--debugVerbose output about the connection and the work the node is given. Ask for this in bug reports.
--logWrite the runner’s log to a file.

The same as RSpec: the gem ships transport binaries for the four common platforms and builds the selective_tracer extension on install, which needs make and a C compiler and is only required for recording test maps.
